The University of Spotlight is our in-house learning centre giving you access to world class retail skills development.

We recognise that every team member wants the opportunity to learn and grow, so the university offers a comprehensive range of learning programs designed to support you in your role and to ensure you have the skills to perform to your best.

We know that effective learning occurs though many different experiences and that traditional classroom base training is only one way to develop skills.

The University of Spotlight offers practical, just-in-time learning based on identified business needs. The development pathways enable you to build your retail capabilities and plan your career progression.

These flexible pathways allow you to develop within your current business area or explore different areas of retail at Spotlight, depending on your interests and aspirations. When creating a personalized development plan with your manager, the learning maps help identify the relevant programs available through the University of Spotlight.

Our learning strategy recognises this through a learner centred blended learning model. Using the University of Spotlight, you will be able to complete eLearning modules, enrol in workshops, download resources such as tool kits, check lists and quick reference guides and access group learning opportunities.

CONFERENCES & ROADSHOWS

Conference and Roadshows provide our store leadership teams and Support Group teams a chance to meet in a dynamic and engaging forum.

These events allow face-to-face interactions, ensuring open communication and collaboration continue as part of our constant and never-ending improvement.
